The Devil Judge [Bl Version] - Chapter 42: Last Chapter

As Yo-Han sat in his car, watching Ga-On\’s house from afar, he made a bittersweet decision. He had come so far, and now, the time had come to see Ga-On, not up close, but from a distance.

He approached the spot where he would be inconspicuous, hoping to catch a glimpse of the man who had never left his thoughts.

Standing hidden from view, Yo-Han\’s heart raced as he saw Ga-On walk out of his house, accompanied by a lady who carried a little boy.

The sight struck him like a lightning bolt of surprise, and for a moment, he couldn\’t believe his eyes. Jin-Joo was the girl Ga-On had chosen to be with.

A sense of disappointment welled up in Yo-Han as he realized that he had been foolish to hope for something else. He watched them from a distance as they seemed to be a happy family, their laughter and smiles painting a poignant picture.

With a heavy heart, Yo-Han started to retreat, his car engine purring to life as he prepared to drive back. He had no place in Ga-On\’s new life, and it was a difficult truth to accept.

As Ga-On and Jin-Joo walked past the old ladies, their presence had not gone unnoticed. One of the ladies, curiosity piqued, couldn\’t resist the urge to ask Ga-On, \”Who was that handsome man looking for you, dear?\”

Ga-On and Jin-Joo exchanged confused glances. They hadn\’t expected this question from the elderly women. After a moment of reflection, Ga-On quickly showed them a photograph of Yo-Han, his hand trembling. \”Is this the person you\’re talking about?\” he asked, his voice quivering, his heart racing.

The old lady nodded, her eyes twinkling with recognition. \”Yes, that\’s the one,\” she replied.

A single tear coursed down Ga-On\’s cheek as the realization hit him, and his emotions surged. The man he had longed to see had indeed been searching for him all along.

\”I think he must have misunderstood, Ga-On.\” Jin-Joo panicked.

As the old ladies provided Ga-On with the last-known direction the car had taken, his heart raced with hope and urgency. He ran toward the road, trying to figure out his next move. Confusion swirled within him, and he felt the weight of missed opportunities bearing down on him.

Spotting someone he knew riding a bike, Ga-On wasted no time. He urgently asked the man for his bike, and, sensing the urgency in Ga-On\’s eyes, the man agreed. Ga-On quickly donned the helmet, mounted the bike, and revved the engine, his determination propelling him forward.

He sped down the road as fast as he could, scanning the cars that passed by. It didn\’t take long for him to spot a white car. Without a second thought, he pulled up alongside and signaled the driver to stop. His heart pounded with anticipation.

As the driver stepped out of the car, Ga-On\’s hopes came crashing down. It wasn\’t Yo-Han. Disappointment washed over him, and he felt a deep sense of frustration at the missed opportunity. He quickly apologized to the startled driver and watched helplessly as the car pulled away, leaving him by the side of the road.

Sitting on a nearby bench, Ga-On couldn\’t help but feel a deep sense of loss and longing. He touched the cross necklace he wore around his neck, a token of his faith and a connection to Yo-Han. He missed Yo-Han more than ever, and the encounter had only intensified his yearning.

\”Damn it,\” he whispered to himself, his voice filled with frustration and sorrow. \”Why did he have to see me and run away again?\” The unanswered question lingered heavily in the air, leaving Ga-On with a heart heavy with emotions.

Ga-On sat on the bench, lost in his thoughts, when a car suddenly screeched to a halt in front of him. Startled, he looked up, and before he could react or even say a word, a familiar voice asked, \”What are you doing here?\”

His heart skipped a beat as he recognized the voice. It was the voice he had longed to hear, the voice that had been etched in his memory. Ga-On\’s eyes met those of the man he had been searching for. Without saying a word, he leaned in and captured Yo-Han\’s lips in a long, passionate kiss.

Tears of joy welled up in Ga-On\’s eyes as he held onto Yo-Han, not wanting to let go, not wanting to lose this second chance that life had granted them. The world around them seemed to fade as they shared this powerful and heartfelt kiss, finally reunited after all those years apart.

\”You… you fool,\” Ga-On choked out between sobs. \”You disappeared for so many years! I thought… I thought I\’d lost you forever.\”

Yo-Han, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears, gently patted Ga-On\’s back. \”I\’m so sorry, Ga-On,\” he said, his voice filled with both sorrow and relief. \”I missed your wedding.\”

Ga-On pulled back, his expression a mix of confusion and laughter. \”My wedding? What wedding?\” Ga-On asked, thoroughly baffled.

Yo-Han chuckled, shaking his head. \”I saw you with Jin-Joo and the child. I thought you got married.\”

Ga-On couldn\’t contain his laughter at the misunderstanding. \”That child, Yo-Han, that is your child! You\’ve missed so much, it\’s unbelievable.\”

Yo-Han\’s eyes widened in shock as the realization hit him. He was the father of the child he had seen with Ga-On and Jin-Joo. The surprise left him utterly speechless, and he could only stare at Ga-On in disbelief, a whirlwind of emotions flooding his heart.

Ga-On and Yo-Han drove to Ga-On\’s house and as Yo-Han\’s hands trembled, he carefully took the little boy into his arms. A single tear traced a path down his cheek as he held the child close.

\”Dad,\” the little boy said, his voice filled with innocence and love, a bright smile lighting up his face. Yo-Han\’s heart swelled at the sound of the endearing word, and he hugged the child even tighter.

Ga-On began to explain, \”Jin-Joo found out about my pregnancy and decided to help me throughout. It would have been too complicated to explain to everyone including Soo-Hyun, so Jin-Joo and her husband were there whenever I needed them.\”

Jin-Joo, with a fond smile, added, \”Ga-On has been waiting for you for the last three years, Yo-Han.\”

Overwhelmed with emotions, Yo-Han took Ga-On\’s hand, their fingers intertwining as they shared a moment that bridged the years of separation. He made a silent promise to never let go again.

Later, Yo-Han, Ga-On, and the little boy embarked on a new journey, this time together. They left for Switzerland, and they entered a grand and opulent mansion, where he was warmly greeted by Elijah, who was now standing on her own two feet.

She extended a warm welcome, and as her gaze fell on the little boy standing between them, her eyes sparkled with delight. She knelt down, picked up the child, and asked, \”Whose little cutie pie is this?\” Her happiness multiplied when she learned that this precious child was the result of Ga-On and Yo-Han\’s love.

Around the dinner table, the atmosphere was one of sheer happiness and warmth. The soft glow of candlelight danced across the faces of Ga-On, Yo-Han, and their little boy, casting a tranquil ambiance over the room.

The clinking of cutlery and gentle laughter filled the air as they shared a delicious meal. Ga-On and Yo-Han exchanged fond glances, their eyes silently speaking of their enduring love. The little boy giggled in delight as he was lovingly fed morsels by his fathers, each mouthful met with joyful applause.

Elijah\’s radiant smile added to the cheerfulness of the moment. She shared stories and anecdotes, her presence a soothing balm that connected their past to their present. The room resonated with the laughter and voices of a family that had been reunited after years of separation.

As the night grew deeper, Yo-Han and Ga-On found themselves alone in a quiet, dimly lit room. Elijah had taken their little boy to sleep in her room, leaving them with a rare moment of privacy. The glow of a single candle added to the romantic ambiance.

They sat close together, their hands gently intertwined. The room was filled with an air of nostalgia, as they looked into each other\’s eyes, their love rekindled after years of separation.

Yo-Han\’s voice was soft and filled with tenderness as he said, \”Ga-On, I can\’t believe we\’re here together again. It\’s like a dream come true.\”

Ga-On leaned in, capturing Yo-Han\’s lips in a tender kiss, a silent affirmation of their enduring love. When they finally pulled away, he whispered, \”I\’ve missed you so much, Yo-Han.\”

Yo-Han smiled, his eyes filled with affection. \”I missed you too, more than words can express.\”

They sat in silence for a moment, savoring the warmth of each other\’s presence. Then, Yo-Han turned to Ga-On, his eyes dancing mischievously. \”You know, Ga-On, now that we have our little one, maybe it\’s time to plan for a second child.\”

Ga-On\’s eyes widened in surprise before he burst into laughter. \”A second child? Are you sure you can handle it, Yo-Han?\”

Yo-Han chuckled, a twinkle in his eye. \”Of course! I\’ve had plenty of practice now.\”

And as the world slept, they embraced, their hearts beating in unison, with the promise of countless tomorrows. For in the quiet of that night, they found their peace, their love, and their happily ever after.
