The Devil Judge [Bl Version] - Chapter 19: The Angry Bite

As Ga-On and Soo-Hyun left the restaurant, their conversation shifted to the uncooperative ex-detective. \”He\’s not giving us anything,\” Soo-Hyun remarked, her tone reflecting her own disappointment.

Ga-On sighed, feeling a sense of helplessness settle in. \”The truth about that fire and Yo-Han\’s past—it all hinges on him. If he won\’t talk, we\’re stuck.\”

Soo-Hyun glanced at Ga-On, her expression thoughtful. \”You know,\” she began slowly, \”Yo-Han is the only one who can provide us with the answers we need. But getting close to him is not an easy task.\”

Ga-On\’s mind raced with possibilities, and he finally spoke up, \”What if I…\”

Before he could finish his sentence, Soo-Hyun interrupted him abruptly, her voice stern and resolute. \”No, Ga-On. It\’s too dangerous. You can\’t go down that path.\”

Her response hung in the air, a stark reminder of the complexities and risks involved in their pursuit of the truth, especially when it came to getting close to the enigmatic and potentially
dangerous Judge Kang Yo-Han.

The somber moment hung heavy in Minister Cha\’s office as she forced herself to sign the sentencing order. Her tears fell as she completed the grim task, a mother witnessing the dire consequences of her son\’s actions. Young-min was to be taken to the flogging ground, a punishment that was as brutal as it was public.

The flogging was not a private affair; instead, a select crowd, including Young-min\’s father, gathered to witness the punishment.

For the rest of the nation, the grim spectacle was broadcast live, a stark reminder of the consequences that awaited those who abused their power.

Many in the public gasped and flinched as they watched the harsh reality unfold on their screens.

However, amidst the discomfort and horror, a select group of individuals wearing Yo-Han T-shirts cheered and waved Korean flags, demonstrating their unwavering support for the enigmatic judge.

Ga-on and Soo-hyun, on the other hand, watched the display with mixed emotions, torn between their pursuit of justice and the disturbing spectacle before them.

Back at mansion,

Yo-Han was reading a book in this study room when Ga-On walked to him and confronted Yo-han that night, his anger and frustration boiling over.

Accusations spilled from his lips, sharp and unforgiving. \”You\’re heartless,\” Ga-on accused. \”You treat people\’s lives like pieces on a chessboard, eliminating anyone who opposes you. Is that why you killed the love of your life?\”

Yo-han\’s expression shifted, a dangerous glint in his eyes as he closed the distance between them. He grabbed Ga-on by the throat, his grip tight and suffocating. \”Say it again,\” he demanded, his voice filled with anger and something far more sinister.

With a violent motion, Yo-han threw Ga-on to the floor, his rage consuming him, his voice a thunderous roar that reverberated through the room. \”Do you know what cruelty really is?!\” he screamed.

Amidst the furious backdrop of thunder and relentless sheets of rain, Yo-Han\’s wrath burned brightly. He seized Ga-On by the collar, his grip unwavering, and dragged him into his room with a fierce urgency.

Ga-On found himself unceremoniously tossed onto the bed, the mattress creaking beneath him, as Yo-Han swiftly locked the door behind them. The room seemed to quiver with tension, the storm outside a reflection of the tempestuous emotions within.

The flashes of lightning illuminated Yo-Han\’s face, revealing a mixture of anger, frustration, and something darker lurking in his eyes.

Ga-On\’s voice trembled with a potent mix of defiance and fear as he found himself trapped, his hands firmly pinned down on the bed. The room pulsed with tension, illuminated intermittently by flashes of lightning and punctuated by the relentless downpour outside.

His words, sharp and loaded, pierced the charged atmosphere. \”What the hell are you doing?\” Ga-On demanded, his voice cracking with an underlying sense of anger and apprehension.

Under the relentless onslaught of the storm, Yo-Han\’s gaze bore into Ga-On with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine.

Yo-Han\’s actions took a chilling turn as he leaned in, his demeanor now resembling something otherworldly. In a shocking and horrifying moment, he sank his teeth into Ga-On\’s neck, like a tiger descending upon his prey.

Ga-On struggled with all his might, his hands desperately attempting to break free from Yo-Han\’s relentless grip. But despite his efforts, he found himself utterly powerless, trapped in a nightmarish scenario where escape seemed impossible.

A haunting and gruesome sound that filled the room—a sickening, slurping noise as his mouth pressed against Ga-On\’s neck, accompanied by the faint echo of Ga-On\’s stifled gasps and the relentless rhythm of the pouring rain outside. It was a macabre symphony, a horrifying backdrop to this surreal and nightmarish encounter, as the sound of blood being sucked sent shivers down Ga-On\’s spine, amplifying his terror and despair.

As Ga-On retreated from the room, Yo-Han\’s voice, chilling and dispassionate, sliced through the air. \”Remember, Ga-On,\” he said coldly, his tone devoid of remorse, \”I can be both savior and demon. Choose your words wisely, or next time, there might not be a choice.\”

Before Ga-On could walk out of the room suddenly he felt dizzy, his vision blurred. He swayed unsteadily for a moment before collapsing to the floor, unconscious. In an instant, Yo-Han sprang into action, his instincts taking over.He rushed to Ga-On\’s side, his heart pounding with worry. Gently, he cradled Ga-On\’s head in his hands, calling out his name in a panicked tone. \”Ga-On! Ga-On, can you hear me?\”

In the dead of night, as Ga-On struggled to regain his senses, he found himself waking to an unexpected sight. Yo-Han was sleeping soundly on the couch within the room. Ga-On\’s gaze shifted to his bandaged neck, a stark reminder of the disturbing events that had unfolded earlier.

As Ga-On reached for a glass of water, he was surprised to feel another hand assisting him. Startled, he looked up, his words forming a chide, but before he could speak, he found himself met with Yo-Han\’s stern gaze. The room was cloaked in an uneasy silence as they both sat there, sharing a moment that was tainted by the sinister encounter from before.

Ga-On\’s voice trembled as he spoke, \”I don\’t need your help, Yo-Han.\”

Yo-Han\’s expression remained inscrutable as he settled beside Ga-On. \”Sometimes,\” he began in a low, contemplative tone, \”we all need a little help, even when we refuse to admit it.\”
